For several years I made zines and small books. My zine called Art Free Zone has six editions and is the repository for my rants and enthusiasms about the art world and popular culture. Some zines are text oriented while others are purely visual. The “book objects” are cut and folded from larger single prints with added covers. The small one-of-a-kind painted hard cover books use photocopied drawings layered to create shapes for gouache.
